I often wonder what happens to a project after you’ve gone. Well I need not wonder any more. In the late 1990’s I had a two week residency in a Women’s Mental Health Crisis House and Resource Centre in Drayton Park, North London.

I was contacted this week by them as they are having an 18th Anniversary celebration and they wanted to use images of the artwork I did with then way back when.

To my amazement they still had the artwork on exhibition there and it has certainly stood the test of time.

I worked directly with the women who were there at the time to come up with a concept of an illustrated story told from their perspective of an aspirational, spiritual and physical journey that they might go on starting with entering the Women’s Crisis Centre.
